We are proud that Scarlet City Studios has gifted The Aetherlight : Chronicles of the Resistance — the MMO, the Bible, the IP — to Imladris to resurrect, develop, steward, and xpand.
For all intents and purposes this is a multi-million dollar asset and Imladris is honored to be entrusted with this genre-defining game.
Our work:
The game has been offline for several years. This warchest updates the code and puts it on Steam and mobile so the people who already loved it can return, and so new players can find it.
It's a lot to accomplish, requires a lot of hands, and that requires funds. That is all this page is for.
Engine licenses, a reprinted Bible, and any later Kickstarter are separate efforts.
Our ask:
$200,000, once.
This fund is a one-time warchest of $200,000 to bring The Aetherlight back to life, back to its faithful fans, and back to the kids who need it.
